During the Summer Arts Program, I started doodling on my scratch paper and came up with this madness.

I'm not sure what to call this style (if anyone has any ideas, let me know). I was thinking of ancient cave paintings initially, but this is some kind of mutation of that style... It's pretty epic.

I'm still debating about the tail. It's a little short. I might lengthen it later, but for now, it's fine I guess. After all, he is a draft.

It took about a half hour to draw (including perfection time to get all the lines just so). It's a really easy style to learn and execute. Quick and painless.

I did a little color correcting in Picture Manager to eliminate the yellow tint to the paper. I also increased the contrast so that the lines would show up darker than they really were. Now, he looks like a tattoo!

Done in mechanical pencil, my favorite medium. Be on the look out for more stylized art in the future.
I'm fascinated by this new thingamajig I fudged up.
