i have to listen. it's not a choice, it's a need.
and those same ones can help me sleep even on the roughest nights.
i don't have insomnia, but i know what it's like to stay up for days.

Because that's not the point the artist was trying to get across.
At least in my opinion, I can still be totally off-base.
There are also a lot of factors that you have to count in as well. Maybe the subject can't afford a radio or an ipod, so it makes the gift of music an even greater one. Instead of questioning art you should try to interpret it. It's a lot funner that way.
