annnnnnnd it's a pergle. huzzah. i dunno how i feel about this one. the hand sucks. ignore it. and it's a generally boring pic. i just felt like drawing narrow perg-eyes instead of the freaking huge ones i always draw. also i keep trying to detail her hair... because when i put a lotta detail in hair i generally fuck it up. came out decently here i think. her ears are retaaaaaarded. all lumpy instead of pointy, boo.should i post shitty concept picture of di's dad? y/n. i warn you it's super shitty.

You know, I've heard of a person being their own toughest audience, but this takes the cake (yummm, cake!!)
I mean, there must be something you see that I don't because those supposed problems with the hand and hair I just do not see. Having viewed your art, I personally feel this lineart could be considered a good insight to your overall style.
As such, I have something of a request. I have recently come to the odd conclusion to start a long-term project, which requires one or two things I need to gather. This project is actually a gift for some friends of mine, of whom I own a great deal to. I have gotten the idea of giving them something back, and with your help I can do that. I simply ask permission to reference your work here for my project, which is of no personal gain to myself. And of course you shall get all the credit you deserve for what I do.
I know I haven't exactly struck many positive nerves, so I just want to say I'm sorry for faving so many of your works without commenting on them. I have every intention of changing that.
You do have wonderful work, and for the record, you're right. The more narrow eyes do look good.

umm, thanks, but i'd really rather you didn't. i suggest referencing stock photos/art. there are some really nice stock galleries on da that allow you full freedom to use their poses, etc.

I think you're insane for thinking this sucks! But alas, an artist is never satisfied with thier own work. Still think you're crazying for thinking this is bad. The ears, hair, and even the hand look awesome. It's a simple (not boring) and elegant piece. The expression on her face and the position of the fingers look as if she's contemplating flicking the winged heart away.
