Brandon and Shin had been dating for several years now , and it seemed like nothing bad that happened could tear there love apart. Both of them seemed so happy together and hated to be away from each other. What shin didn't know is that Brandon wanted to go farther into there relationship and was planning to go on a trip to America to make the proposal even better that he already had booked to go to for next week. He thought everything would go great, but one afternoon while they hung out Brandon couldn't help but to start asking Shin questions.
"So.." Brandon said after a while of sitting on the couch with Shin and watching a movie soon getting Shins attention. "Well, what do u think about being together? I mean with all couples everywhere and them being married?"
Shin gave him a slightly wondering look before smiling "Being married is stupid and boring, I would never do it." He chuckled.
Brandon eyes widen slightly and he felt a bit depressed. "O-Oh, ok." He looked away a bit, he was hoping they could get married but hearing Shins words he didn't feel like he could tell Shin his plans, but since he already had everything planned he though to cheer him up they could still go. "So I have booked a place in America for a little trip for us. Do you think you would like to go?" Brandon said slightly nervous.
Shine stared at Brandon for a bit before smiling widely "Sounds like fun of course I will go!"
Smiling gently back at Shin, Brandon hoped he would be able to change his loves mind during the trip.

All through out the week he had his mind on the trip, but mainly he had his mind about the proposal. He kept worrying that what Shin said was true and that once he was told he would be rejected. He tried to stay happy as much as he could. His mind kept racing with what could happen when from the door he suddenly heard a knock and when he opened it up Shine stood there with a big smile on his face and a suite case filled with things for the trip. Brandon smiled back at him and grabbed his things and they soon left leaving the door locked for the trip. Of course he was happy Shin agreed to this. Even if Shin didn't say yes at least they would have a good time together.
Brandon watched Shin as he slept in the airplanes seat next to him that night. He loved to watch his lover sleep it made him look so calm and cute he would always end up finding himself smiling at Shin. Right then he had no worries as he kissed Shins head softly and relaxed in his chair to sleep as well.
When he woke up it was by Shin shaking him. When he looked to Shin he said "Its almost noon I thought I should wake you, and we are almost there."
Brandon calmly smiled to Shin and placed a gently kiss on his lips as a thank you.
Once the flight ended they both got off the plane and grabbed there luggage. They both were excited for the trip to start after they got relaxed into there hotel. Once they got a taxi Brandon said the address to the hotel to the driver and soon they were off, looking at buildings.
After a while they stopped at a big hotel building making Shins eyes widen as he turned to Brandon "This is where we are staying?" Brandon smiling and nodded his head and he paid the driver and and they both got out with there suitcases and went inside. Once inside Brandon started getting nervous about the proposal he was planning to do. He kept looking to Shin who seemed calm. While waiting in line to get there key room he kept thinking about forgetting to even bother to do the proposal. mix emotions of sadness, nervousness, and fear wouldn't leave his body, he wanted to be with Shin and for so long he though Shin wanted to as well, but after hearing his words he just wasn't sure anymore.

Days past by and everyday was getting closure and closure to the day Brandon wanted to ask Shin.
"Brandon?" Shin said shaking his lover gently.
"H-Huh?" Brandon looked to Shin.
Shin was worried because ever since they arrived Brandon seemed to be more and more out of it and not paying attention to the things they did together. He was worried he might be sick or something happened that he wasn't told. "Are you ok?"
Brandon smiled weakly to calm Shin and said "I'm fine don't worry about it ok?"
After a sigh and a little of hesitation Shin replied to him "Ok."
"Good." Brandon kissed Shin for a while sweetly before breaking it and looking into his eyes "Now lets go for today activity." With that he took Shins hand and they left there room.

Day after Day his mind kept racing with all the things that could happen when the proposal day came. Brandon barely slept, ate, or payed much attention to other then Shin to make sure he wouldn't worry. It was until the day finally came that he was completely alert about everything. Brandon had brung Shin to a beautiful park and to have a picnic together for supper. He had packed food of fruits, vegetables, and some sandwiches and also some of Shins favorite desserts neatly packed to be spread out across a blanket on the ground for them to sit on. It wasn't much, but Brandon new this were they could be alone and have some peace and quiet just so he would have more courage to propose after there food. the ring in its little case was being held in Brandons pocket, he always secretly checked to make sure it was always there. Shin was having a good time but Brandon kept worrying even though he wasn't showing it. finishing the food took minutes but it felt like years, they finished there desserts and they sat there. putting the empty containers away.
Brandon nervously sighed a bit "So Shin..." He couldn't help but to ask him again.
"Yes?" Shin asked questioningly.
"Remember when I asked you about marriage?...is that how you truly feel?"
Shin chuckled a bit "oh that marriage is pointless?" He laughed a little. "What about it?"
Brandon shook his head and thought it to be no use and he got up and grabbed everything "Nevermind...Lets just go." His voice seemed sad and ready to break down and he started walking quickly off.
Shin heard the sadness in his lovers voice and he went to him quickly grabbing his hand "Brandon..Whats wrong?"
"Its nothing." Brandon said pulling his hand away.
Shin made Brandon look at him and he said in a demanding tone "Tell me Brandon!!"
Brandon new nothing could make Shin stop this and he looked away before looking back at him "Shin...The whole point of this trip was...Well tonight I was going to ask you to marry me." With that said he took out the case for the ring.
When Shin saw the case his eyes widened and he took the case gently and opened it up to show a beautiful ring "....You....Brandon did you think i was serious about that marriage thing?"
Brandon kept looking at him and he nodded his head.
"I was joking..." Shin looked down at the ring again "if I new you really meant that I would have said the truth instead of joking...I'm sorry."
Brandon looked to his love "so then...will you..marry me?"
Shin smiled happily and nodded his head.
Brandon came over to him and took the ring out off its case and onto Shins finger who soon hugged him after putting it on with joy.
