My best friend delighted me with one of his little stories, insired by my art...it's a common thing we do with each other and I thought it would be really nice if everyone else could read it.

"Hey Sas... Whatcha doin' at this time in the morning?"

Sasuke looked over his head with a smile as he felt strong arms come up over his shoulders from behind. Naruto looked like he had just awoken--circles under his eyes not yet faded, eyes glassy, hair a bit of a mess. But he was smiling the most beautiful smile the man had ever seen.

"Just finishing up some last minute paperwork so we can have the rest of our vacation to ourselves," he replied in a contented hum, accepting the gracious, lazy kiss that was pressed to his lips. His chest hummed while his skin sang pleasantly of the touch.

"Well then hurry up and come back to bed," Naruto languidly returned. "I'm feelin' lazy and I got some -things- I think I need to give ya." His tone was sultry and sleepy and everything perfect in Sasuke's world.

Before the blonde could slip his arms back off of Sasuke's shoulders, the older man caught his left hand and brought it back to his lips. He gave the blonde a meaningful, upside-down look, then broke into a peaceful smile. Supple lips gently kissed the gold ring on a tanned finger. "I'll be there in ten," he gently told his new husband. "Promise."
