I (sort of) made it using rainmeter and objectdock, but never dove into a different shell to replace explorer. It's in my gallery if you want to mess around with it.

Your placement of the start button violates Fitts' Law. It's in the corner for a reason. Also, I'm not sure what you mean when you say the taskbar and system monitor are "customizable." What, exactly, would be available for customization?

As for excellent looking, realistic and seeable for the future concepts, this is a REALLY good one. I've always liked the centered start orb.
