Great capture as per usual

You know, every single time you upload photos, I get this wistful feeling and my brain starts yelling at me, "YOU NEED TO DO THAT!!!"

Anyway. Another brilliant shot, this! A perfect action shot!

Barrel racing and the bareback riding (I'm too wimpy for bull riding).

Well with barrel racing, start taking general riding classes (I dont know how experienced you are with horses) and then eventually find a barrel racing trainer and take lessons.
With bareback riding, you just gotta get connections and meet people in the rodeo world.. you will eventually be hooked up.

Well thats good. So yea, just find a barrel trainer in your area and start from there. It takes a while to get connections, but once you do, it's the neatest thing in the world.

Yeah, I'm right in the middle of the city. Takes a good 45 minutes to get to the barn I ride at.

Sometimes the horses and the bulls amaze me more than the people who try to stay on them. It is truely amazing how high, strung out, and twisted these animals can get trying to dislodge a rider. YOur shots capture amazing athletic fetes. Thanks for sharing. I bet you get very dusty and hot?!!! Very terrific photos....Annie

haha I agree. I have seen some crazy stuff in the rodeo world!
Sometimes I get hot... depends when the rodeo is during the year. But yea, you always get dirty at a rodeo, thats a given. haha. I dont mind though, comes with the territory! Plus I'm use to it since I compete myself.
