The Mirage Dragon depicted here is a member of a group of varanids that evolved to resemble various outdated and pop culture depictions of dinosaurs. This group serves as the primary megafauna of the jungles of this world. The Mirage Dragon itself is a, possibly venomous, ambush predator that averages 20 feet in length and resembles the Rhedosaurus from The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms.
