“Eventually I did manage to find myself a rider willing to give me a run on one of the titan wasps. When I met up with him he handed me a helmet like the one I always saw them wear. Figuring a helmet wouldn’t do me much good should I fall of in mid flight I gave the helmet back, laughing that we wouldn’t be going in combat anyway. He pushed the helmet back my way with a smile, saying “You’ll be sitting approximately ten feet from a titan wasp’s wings beating a rough one hundred times per second. This helmet isn’t to keep you from getting injured; it’s to keep you from going deaf”.”

Yay! I finished another drawing. Only took me several months too. Not the drawing itself –that only took me a week or so- but getting over the creative block. Nothing new about this one. If anything this drawing has taught me it’s that I need to persist more in finishing a work piece. Let’s hope I’ll manage to get back into the art loop.
