So I had a discussion with a fellow deviant, about if TLK was really a rip off of Kimba the white lion, personally I like TLK better, but I do like Kimba's story. But the art work is mediocre and I thought TLK's art work was absolutely amazing so I decided to draw Kimba in TLK's styleref used from 's :[link]

My comic is a mix up of Kimba and TLK, and it's great to see somebody else draw Kimba like he was in TLK ^^

I still recall the ads for Kimba, but never made the potential connection until only a few years back.
Of course, I agree with Disney's claims of being unaware of Kimba's production whilst creating TLK.
This makes me wonder how things would have turned out if Disney really 'did' thief the concept.
