Description Inspired by the Charmander card from the Pokémon TCG Base Set.

Not entirely satisfied with the outcome, but getting it out of my system was the best part.

Does that textured look come from the paper you used? I rather like the lines it gives. I've also never seen a humanized pokemon like this before either. It leans more towards human than pokemon or even furry like I usually see. Neat!

Thank you! The texture is from the paper. When I apply the gesso, I use a thick brush so the bristles leave grooves in the paint when it dries. I prefer not to sand it down so that texture comes through. I also don't like drawing in a "furry style" so my monster girls tend to look more humanoid. I like them best that way.

Ah, I see! It's such an unusual and interesting art style for a genre that's so filled with anime and furry styles.
