Description EDIT (5/20/11): I'm actually pretty proud of this one even though I know that I was supposed to get it finished within a day, things got in the way, but it gave me more time to spend on coloring and filling in the itty bitty details on it and I'm proud how it turned out. The right brushes can make a huge difference considering I'm not good at coloring in scales myself, so until than I'll take advantage of these XD

Once again I give credit to for the awesome scale texture brushes

ABOUT THE DEADLY NADDER

Truly the most beautiful and bird-like of all the dragon species. They are closest to a wyvern species because they have the wings and legs without any arms.
They stand taller than any of the other species, and they are very fast and light on their feet. They are very agile and can go through and above obstacles with ease. Along with that they aren't nearly as agile in the air due to their small wings to body ratio. They have big heads with a crown of spikes covering the top as well as many spikes going down their spine.
They breath a steady, but powerful blast of fire that has been know to be powerful enough to push back an opponent. Another attack strategy that the Deadly Nadder is most well known for are their many quills on their tail. These quills remain tucked close to the skin most of the time and would prop up along with the the horns on its head when its about to attack or is curious and responding to things. The Deadly Nadder with swing its tail in a whip-like fashion expelling many quills that can pierce through a wooden shield. The quills have similar properties to that of arrows on a bow.
The only disadvantage that the Deadly Nadder has is its "blind spot" right in front of its nose where its long curved horn blocks out their eyes that are locate on the side of its head. Ruffnut and Tuffnut got to become guinea pigs in this during Gobber's dragon training with the Deadly Nadder, but it didn't end to well because they couldn't stop arguing XD
Astrid befriends a Deadly Nadder in the movie. They almost get ended up in the Red Death's mouth during their final battle, but thanks to Toothless and Hiccup they get freed and saved.

Thank you, this one took me the longest in comparison to my past two because of my OCD to fill out every little detail on it. I love the Deadly Nadder and wanted to show its beauty in every aspect possible.
