Description
A little stress doodle that turned into a 4-5 hour speedpaint. Holy shizzle.Couldn't decide if he was an earth drake or a lightning drake. Leaning on lightning.

god i love the the way you combined a darker/duller colour with a colour that pops!(now i know this isn't new, but the way you did it made it special) and the head is so captivating! as well as the way you coloured! it gives it a realistic but mysterious feel! faved!^^

awesome!! I love love love the bust. His head looks so good with those colors. the only thing that kinda bothers me is the tail. :/ I think it's because it just looks like he's got the mumps on it haha lol but other then that it's a wonderful design! great work!

Thanks! And yeah, his tail bugs me too. It was, after all, just a doodle that I ended up coloring. Maybe I'll end up fixing it though..

Well, considering lightning arches from both the ground and the sky, it could be a ground lightning dragon.

wow scale i love all his horns and his eyes!! captivate me. i actually like the plain brown background. only thing that is different not bad but i find different is i feel like his tail just ends.. maybe he needs some massive spike on the end idk just my thoughts

The anatomy:
Quite well done! I very much enjoy seeing the underskin bones and ribs. Legs are well posed, just a minor problem could be cause by the tail which seems too think at its base and end but that may be desired effect and can be questioned by the mass of the spikes. (they may be light)
Colours:
I like the blending of brown/blue/azure ! Its so fluent and looks very natural! Like it is a true earth dragon with lightning abilities
Shading:
As usual, Your shading style does the job right! Especially considering the amount of spikes which were tuned down/up in colour.
Overall:
Its pretty!
