Description
A request byTwo women, skilled in the use of overly large weapons, each a sister.
Sango: One of the greatest demon slayers of her village, Sango wields a giant boomerang, a katana, and poison smoke bombs in her quest to kill the demon Naraku and save her younger brother.
Temari: An elite ninja of the Village Hidden in the Sand, Temari is the older sister of current Kazekage, Gaara. With her giant fan, she specializes in Winds based jutsu to defend her village and complete her missions.
Now these two older sisters are gonna come to blows. When Boomberang meets Fan, who will win? Demon Slayer or Ninja? The Last of the Demon Hunters? Or the Sister to a Demon Vessel? Only you can decide...

Sango wins against Temari up until the Fourth Shinobi War then after that unknown

Temari. Sango's good, but not that good. Naruto tends to be on a higher tier than most series when it comes to brute power, and Temari's not only beaten opponents who use the exact same skills as Sango, but much stronger enemies as well, ones that would've beaten Sango with minimal difficulty. Tenten alone would've proven a formidable adversary for Sango, and Temari curbstomped her.Β
Sango would need to get close first, and Temari's much faster physically. That only leaves her the boomerang and her poison, both of which are countered by Temari's fan which allows her to simultaneously attack and defend.

I think the better fight for Temari would be Kagura.
They're both master fightersΒ of the wind and air when it comes to fighting, not to mention they both use fans to fight.
Sango I think should fight Lady from Devil May Cry. Two brunette women that might be normal with no powers but still manages to kick some serious demon butt.

Temari would easily win. Sango uses weapon that is thrown. Temari uses wind. Say goodbye to the boomerang. That would leave Sango left with only her arm blade. And she isnt exactly a good swordsman.

I know nothing about this character but based on what's provided above, she's got poison bombs. Temari is vulnerable to any kind of bomb, since wind spreads whatever it is. If it's poison then Temari could end up hurting herself by using wind to spread the poison. This will leave the other girl with an opening and then she can use her boomerang.Β

True, but wind feeds flames. Well, Temari did this with Konohamaru and his dust, stuff, didn't work because she blew it away. So, I guess it wouldn't work unless it's fire.

The dust was ash. Konohamaru was using the jutsu "Fire style: Burning Ash". It just didn't get to ignite. Temari would be safe with that because if I remember correctly, Sango doesn't use fire.

All else aside, Sango is a tad lacking in the speed department to have any real hope of winning here.

Temari do to her winds being capable of deflecting all of Sango ranged attacks and due to her experance fighting other humans as Sango is a demon hunter.

As much as i'd like to go with Sango winning this. My vote goes to Temari. Temari is no slob when it comes to hand to hand combat, and distance. Sango may be able to throw her boomerang but Temari's wind will blow it off corse. Smoke bombs, blowing the poison away. Add to the fact that Temari can make plans durring the battle. Almost as good as the lazy but amazingly smart Nara clan. Sango is going to lose in the long run.Β

I love Sango more then Temari, but considering how well she was able to fight against Tenten, who also specialized in ranged weapons, Sango will likely be toast.

But Sango is equally skilled in ranged AND close combat. Don't forget that that boomerang makes a killer club that she can swing around just as easily as she can throw it. Plus, she also carries around a wakizashi just in case, so the ranged point is moot.

But range is clearly her specialty, so it's unlikely if she would actually use that sword of hers very often. Even if she did, Temari's fan doubles as a melee weapon too, so she could defend herself long enough to get range again.
While Sango is clearly physically stronger then Temari, I find that between Temari's superior range attacks and a keener tactical mind, she could literally blow Sango away.
Now if it was Kagura Vs Temari, that would be a completely different story. XD

While I admit that she's not prone to often using the sword, if ever, you're wrong on range being her speciality. You'll find that more often than not when using her boomerang, Sango will get up close and personal, utterly demolishing demons with Hiraikotsu while still holding on to it, only throwing it if she sees an opening. And while I agree that Temari also has a good tactical mind, remember that Sango grew up a demon hunter, and that demons take a vast array of shapes, sizes, and abilities. This means that Sango would have to develop separate strategies and tactics for each battle she'd be in. And despite the admittedly superior range of Temari's fan, Sango's Hiraikotsu is made of demon bone, thus it would be for all intents and purposes impervious to Temari's Wind Blades, making it the perfect shield.

I don't see how the hiraikotsu could protect sango from Temari's winds. Temari isn't a demon or anything, and her winds are able to bypass armor.
And while Sango can get up close, Temari would never permit it. She would do everything she could to keep her distance, which is proven many times. And while Sango was trained as a skilled demon slayer, again, Temari is no demon, and Temari is also trained as a ninja, which is more focused on killing humans and also has different skills and tricks like Sango has.
Both are skilled fighters in their own rights, but I find Sango only has superiority in melee, while Temari not only is stronger with range attacks, trained more at fighting people and being a much better tactician. I just find it hard to imagine Sango beating an opponent like that..

I vote Temari because she has magic chakra powers and Sango has a giant boomerang. I would put any ninja from naruto verse with the skill level to get through the academy on a higher level than Sango.

Temari is going to be the victor, because of her giant fan and her powerful Wind jutsu, as well as her summoning jutsu.

I don't know, I like both of them, both of them are badass girls. But for me I think Sango would win. It's just because of her Intelligence, resourcefulness and strong. And as far as I knew, her Hiraikotsu was upgraded when it was fixed by the Poison Master. It's demonic poison/energy/aura would cut Temari in half when it reaches her. Like what he did to Naraku.

if sango can take a giant demon bear using taijutsu, and live getting stabbed multiple times,survive against miasma i'm pretty sure she can handle sasuke.

Temari: Able to enhance physical abilities with Chakra. Summoning technique, wide variety of moves, better defenses, more agile.
Sango: Poison is super lethal. Boomerang doubles as amazingly durable shield. Better hand to hand combatant.

Hiraikotsu might not work as well long distance with the wind chakra, but she can still use it at close range as both battering ram and shield. Plus she's got an array of close combat weapons easily at her disposal including; smoke bombs, bone dissolving poisons (with mask), arm blades, wakizashi, chain, and who knows what other goodies she's hiding under her armor considering she's always pulling out something new.
She's also displayed more than adequate hand to hand combat - seeing as she was able to knock out a bandit with one kick. Kirara's help is a plus as well.
This is a woman who's crawled out of her grave after a volley of spears and arrows and a deep wound in her back. She doesn't need any special powers to be strong and confident. I scoff at the thought of her succumbing to a kunoichi in training.

she also a master strageist almost as good a shikmaru nara who has an iq of over 200 hundred and temari with her huge fan could just blow those bombs and weapons away from her

i found another reason why she would win temari is a master strageist almost as good as shikmaru nara and i think fighting sango would be similar to her fight with tenten which temari won with almost no effort

Temari, mostly because all of Sango's moves are ranged attacks, and those don't work so well because Temari has wind chakra, and that huge fan.
