Description I tend to mod a lot. I'm VERY picky when it comes to posability of my dolls. Here's the result.

Glad you find it useful! Pangen is a great mold and rather rare.

Awesome, I love seeing folks making mechanical adaptations to their dolls. It's not something a lot of people do.

Thanks a lot! I also noticed that not many people pay attention to the proper doll's engineering, that includes BJD sculptors too.

Yeah I know. Of course there's always the trouble between aesthetics and poseability, but that's usually not the issue when it's just a matter of a little longer slot or better fit or something. I surely enjoy a well-engineered doll. The more mechanical knick-knacks the better (as long as it has a purpose)!Β

Thank you! Never had enough strength to shoot every part BEFORE doing mods, so I hope the schemas are pretty understandable!

Thank you very much, I love the engineering part of BJDs very much and try to explain the principles to others. Though his legs gave me the hard time to decipher what exactly is wrong))

Thank you very much!
I'm not sure if this term is correct but I've learned it from Den of Angels. You just glue a pieces of genuine leather or suede with a "hairy" side up to create a friction. If artificial suede doesn't fray it can be used too for a smaller dolls.

I don't own an Idealian body, but Soom's new bodies are very similar to them. I hate that stupid peg thing in the elbow. Its so dumb. Serves no purpose. I was looking into just removing that myself, thinking it will open up the elbow to bend beyond 90 degrees.

Haha, I had a similar thoughts until I understood how exactly it works)) Maybe Soom thinks this angle is enough?
Making the joint smooth and moving EASILY under the clothes gave me a bit of work, until I took enough of resin from there and created a rounded edges. Maybe adding some Apoxie to create a ball there would help but I managed to make it work anyway, it's less noticeable. My DIM girl with a very similar mod wasn't so lucky.
