Added 2/7/08Another Simurgh. I like this one better than my first try at a Simurgh, except for the weird Peacock head feather things I gave him. I wish I had not done that: They look strange. -_-
And yes, that branch sucks.

wow , such a wonderfull colour design , good pose aswell - dosnt matter that the branch as you put it 'sucks' - it would that way from the simurgh if it where detailed with bark

Feathers definitely strike me as time-consuming and potentially maddening features to draw...as such, niiice job overcoming those difficulties. Otherwise, I must agree with T.T.'s comments, and note how sinister that face looks (in a good way, mind you).
