Description
Rhythm is a ooak (one of a kind) kirin foal sculpture. She is about 8 inches tall. She was made from scratch from polymer clay over wire and foil, and is painted in acrylic. Her hair is tibetan lamb fur and she has inset glass doll eyes.Rhythm was fun to make... she was a commission, the customer asked her to be white with ice blue and grey highlights. I've never done a foal, let alone a kirin foal, so it was interesting! I like how she ended up, sort of playful yet mischievous.
Rhythm was a commission so isn't for sale. Please check out my facebook page if you are interested in following new work from me! [link]

The first words that came to mind when I saw this picture were, "that is a majestic beast." Your craftsmanship and loving attention to detail show in this beautiful commission; she looks so lifelike and dynamic that I expect her trot off into a verdant forest somewhere.

No, she was a commission She's got antlers and a horn in the middle, just like Winterlore and Aiakos. Aphelion is still the weird one with the extra antler in the middle
She took about 6 weeks to make, maybe 20 hours in total, just a guess
