Image on frame is referenced from the Mural from the Hidden Palace Zone from Sonic and Knuckles that foreshadows the events of this game but this image above represents how the old aged Sonic Legacy passed on to his grandson. I've beaten Sonic 3 and Knuckles with all Super Emeralds on thee Wii after I played it on the original Sega Genesis model 2 which I owned. Sonic the hedgehog 3 was my childhood.Related content

I remember that scene too, and it was such a great mural.
BTW, Sonic has a son like that in the Archie Comics, at one point. This could totally pass as something for that too.
Though I wonder who Sonic Jr. would be fighting? Maybe one of Eggman's descendents, or Eggman who would now be an almost full-body cyborg to extend his lifespan (like Weil in Megaman Zero).
