Nifty Cool!  The only thing I never liked about the TOS era ships is that they had those deflector dishes that stood out like a sore thumb.

 This is a very neat design! An AWACs of the Miranda class looks totally feasible, specially since we already know there were more variants for the hull as seen with the Antares variant from DS9.

and by pure coincidence, the USS Philadelphia NCC-1665 is listed as having been refit into a Miranda refit and appears in Star Trek Starfleet Command
