Description This was taken in Alexander county, Illinois. I found myself standing in a pond in the middle of a farm field, with watch dogs howling and scowling at me. It was cold, in the 30s but this sunset warmed the air like fire. Even in this freezing environment, dozens of frogs call all around me. They decide when spring arrives, they bring life to this otherwise barren field.

that is a beautiful sun set. normally to me sunset photos are so unoriginal but there is something about this one! fantastic capture

Thank you, I like photographing sunsets, and it is hard to come up with new ideas at how to approach something that has been done over and over.

the slight hint of colours in the backgrounf looks simply amazing and adding to that the reflection of both the colour and the tree looks amazing

very very nice its hard to get dark tones to work on digital images like the tree roots and grass at the bottom of the frame but other than that great image
