There's a little PS in this while I try to move Painter over to my new machine (not so successfully as of yet! Grr)

Yeah it does seem to be a nightmare on this machine.. ggg. Never had any problem before, so I'm saying bum to it all and making new brushes, I'll just have to try and work with something close to what I had.. Oh woe is me!
With any luck they'll be new and improved brushes, and I'll stick the settings for the better ones up here eventually

Ug, it's so hard trying to replicate old custom brushes. I lost one a few months ago, and still haven't been able to figure out what settings I had tweaked to produce it. D: I'll be looking forward to the new brushes, though!

T'is a nightmare. Still, creating new brushes can either be frustrating or enlightening.. I'm trying desperately to lean towards the latter.. I hope that works for you too

Weeks ago I'm sitting there looking at the contest description. I look at my girlfriend and my first words are: "This contest is gonna be awesome."
She responds: "Are you going to enter?"
I reply: "Oh yeah! Mind you I'm not going to win, that'll be Scott, I bet."
Then the art goes up on the blog... and I read a few comments before looking at the entries, everyone is saying #70 is awesome! I think, "that'll be Scott..." so I start looking at them and sure enough, that's the style I know!

As I've already said, this is a great piece. Congrats Scott! It was nice to see a contest where I agreed with the judges picks. I usually hate contests because it often seems like such a crap shoot. The art order contests must get some wise judges.

I tend to agree mate, I'm not sure that mine deserved to win on this occasion, but I'm not complaining and I'll happily accept whatever it is we get to do, lol.
The one thing I haven't liked on AO is the public voting..which is a bit sh@t if you don't get everyone and their donkey out for your piece, it's much more valuable to get the AD's view eh.
