Wow I thought I already told so many about this but here I go again
Kurai's face turned all black because he lived in yold desert, so he simply got a tan, and his skin is dark because of it too.Β (It's hard to see here because I added multiply on rich Kurai to set the mood) And yea rich never ended up in the desert, thus keeping the normal look.Β
In my headcanon there's a slit going down the middle where the face parts which is why you can still see a line.Β
