Β think the reason why they never showed Cadence visibly pregnant as Mrs. Cake but if the birth of their children, is because as MLP is a show for small children, for the children's safety they refrained from showing graphic content about the true Origin of babies, pregnancy

But yet Rugrats showed pregnancy in it in it's movie anyways. Β Maybe it's just that times are changing and rather show the kids ONLY what the parents want rather than what the kids eventually gonna learn about one day.

It is true that times change. For example CN had no problem with its content and now censors every scene of any show, even things that really have nothing inappropriate.
In addition, Rugrats is a show for kids, but MLP is supposed to be a show for todlers, from where I come it is transmited on Discovery Kids, and I'm sure that the children to whom the show is directed are not yet old enough to know where Babies come.

Yeah, that unfortunately would be opening Hasbro up to a lot of criticism. Keeping in mind the target audience still does include very young kids. I imagine it could cause kids to ask some questions of their parents that they may not be ready to answer yet.

It took four years for one year to pass in Equestria. Horses are pregnant for 11 months. We won't be meeting that foal until season 9.
