He can be very aggressive with other males and needs to be introduced very carefully. With people he is weary, particularly around men, and won't hesitate to show his teeth if need be. Once you gain his trust he is very protective of you, and tends not to let any people or dogs near. He can be loving but this has to be on his terms.
