Description
NOTE: If you're wondering where I got the horns, I went to a local Bass Pro Shop (Like a camping/hunting store) and found them. They were actually part of a bathroom set from "Bone Collector" - it was a toothbrush holder.
The Doll Pictured is an Infiniti Doll Ryan on a Crobidoll M-Line body. Face, horns, and wig by me.
Hope this helps!

I actually saw that exact tooth brush holder looking for horns for this exact purpose, I ended up not buying them because I think the listing I saw didn't have measurements, but they look amazing on a doll!

Thanks! They are SLIGHLY too big for a 65cm in my opinion - however for the character they work perfect. So for your average horns I'd say it's better for a 70cm doll.. just my opinionΒ

This is cool. I ordered some small antlers for one of my girls and used eye putty to stick the magnets to her head under her silicone wig cap. The hot glue seems good too.

Thanks! And you made them?! Gah you've got more skill than me in that area! I can't keep things even >_<; Which will be changing - I'm gonna try and play with some sculpting I think.Β

Lol, yup. My sister is a cake decorator and she gave me this helpful tip to snip the clay to get antler points! She said that's what she does xD It made it so simple and easy : D I'm sure it'll come out great for you! You got that golden touch ;3

Would the magnets not be strong enough to attract one another from inside the head?

sdrcow In reply to SimplyPeaches [2014-04-02 20:09:36 +0000 UTC]
More than likely not - the horns sit really well even with the layers of wig/hats but I feel like if they were on the inside of the cap they would move a lot more. I didn't feel like chancing it and they don't show at all anyway. If the horns were smaller I could probably get away with putting them on the inside - they are pretty strong.Β

Ah I see. Just curious. I'd be so paranoid about putting glue on xD

sdrcow In reply to SimplyPeaches [2014-04-02 21:09:20 +0000 UTC]
Nah - Hot Glue does no damage - I can say I've used hot glue on EVERY doll I've ever owned, be it attaching something for a photo or just hot glue sueding - it's one of the easiest things to get off your doll without damaging. I do recommend using a Low-Temp hot glue gun though - I use those cheap 1.99$ ones from Wal-marts. You're safe with them!

I always love finding something to mod for extras or a base as a project.
But I've never had a doll come with horns either! >,<
