The B-32 Dominator. Perhaps the best bomber that never was.

It had more flaws than the B-29, especially with engine fires. The two that saw combat had normal turrets like on a B-17 or B-24 and no pressurization.

That could have been ironed out had it seen more widespread service. Engine trouble, especially with wartime produced aircraft was one of the most common problems an aircraft would have.
