So Shirder is making a short D'Island fan-comic and I must say, the level of accuracy and effort put into the entire project is amazing! If you haven't yet I really recommend you give it a read! shirder.deviantart.com/art/Avi…
It inspires me so much I wanted to draw a scene from it. This guy here is his character Avidrian, messing with a soon-to-be-ticked-off Kade. Check the story to understand what's going on and how it ends ;)
Haven't drawn something detailed in a while (this is starting to become a habit);; Avi sure is a fun one to draw, he's got some awesome expressions :') Hope you'll like this little gift.

This is.... Outstanding. Incredible. I don't have the words to describe it. When I first saw this, scrolling through my notifications, I thought it was a photograph and was honestly confused for a few seconds. When I realized it was art... Well, let's just say I was impressed. This is an incredibly realistic piece. I love how you did the scales and sand, and the shading and highlighting is impeccable. There is so much emotion in this picture, I don't even have to read the comic to know what it's about. Great work my friend, keep it up!!

And holy crap, you've put SO much detail work into this piece, unbelievable. I've been looking at this for half the day and am still blinded by the pure... EXISTANCE of all of- everything.
It has all come a long way since my internet knocked me out of your first stream, when you were just starting on the sand (also sorry for spoiling the surprise back there, but I just couldn't contain myself when I first saw it 
And all those scales, all 2873 of them, dear lord they must have been tough business when I see that every single one has received individual shading 
Also glad to see Avi has not lost his muscular frame here, it's so well shaded^^ And you've got even the transition thing on the horns, nice 
Unbelievable you did this in like only 4 days, but I saw and was fascinated by how focussed you've been working on this... It was an inspiring experience for me, too.
Okay okay I admit the truth now, I've been silently watching all the streams. otherwise my synapses might have not withstood the amazement over the finished picture x'3
