i can't find the right brush i found one like it but the smudging has made my tail not look real

I would suggest painting if you are a more experienced artist.

You would have to paint the mane and tail, there are several tutorials for that.

You're very welcome! Very few people use Sumo Paint, but for us lucky few, we still need help with stuff!

yep. I just have one question. I brighten the horse when i smudge the mane and tail if they have dark ones, like black or dark grey or brown, but then i can't get the horse back to it's normal color. Can you help me with that??

I don't do that, but I think I know how to fix it. Before you do anything, lasso the mane/tail. Copy and paste it into another layer. Adjust the brightness on that layer only. This should leave the horse the same brightness. You can then erase the mane/tail on the original horse layer

I'm glad you found this useful! I must note that I do not use this technique anymore, since I have advanced in my graphic making process. I've begun painting the manes and tails. I still recommend smudging like this for beginner artists, though.

thankyou, i just started to do the mane and tail properly all though ive done graphics for a year almost. ive tried painting it on its good but im gonna start from simple. thanks anyway. i have the right brush now.
