Especially forI know the cloned out background is not the best, but honestly I suck at clone tool, especially when it goes to cloning out the background behind the fluffy ears!

My grandparents have a squirrel that sits on their porch swing early in the morning.

No, he's a wild squirrel. He just sits on the swing and drops walnuts on the patio.

cute beggar mine sometimes run to you when you go to the park and they're hungry enough, they can stand scratching your leg and snuffing if you have any walnuts

Cutie of a squirrel! I'm kinda freaked out by those giant nails, though o . o Had to expect it, but they're still frightening xD

hehe they might look dangerously but in fact they're not - been few times scratched by a squirrel sitting on my hand that got scared because of something and too rapidly run - but I didn't even bleed from them. Squirrels use these nails mainly to climb the trees and be able to hold to the bark, they can even hang on the tree almost like bats.

That surprises me, actually. You'd think that even unintentionally they'd draw blood if they scratched you, or at least leave you red. Though I suppose they have some control over themselves > w <
And I have noticed such things, it's really amazing o . o

Yup, I guess they control their claws a lot like cats do. They're really wonderful creatures, but kind of silly, still it's their charm to be silly.

Wow, it's kind of funny to think of them like a cat xD But I guess they kinda are...
You are totally right about the silly part, though The other day a squirrel dropped thier walnut as I was walking by the tree they were in, and I saw them lunge for it and then freeze and stare at me. It was so cute β₯ I still wonder if they retrieved their nut...

Hehe yeah. Btw did you know that squirrels bury the nuts in the holes before the winter so later on they have something to eat. But they do hide this way so many nuts that later on they forget where they have hidden them.
Still this way they do 'plant' lots of trees.

Yes! I remember learning that a long time ago. It really is adorable, so funny! The poor things, but I suppose that in the end they do help themselves, for those trees the accidentally planted will one day provide nuts for their offspring (:

Yup for sure, though I got a feeling that in the cities, they don't depend on the trees as much as they do on the tourists.
