I homecoming to the digital world after a long stint in abstract painting… first photomanip piece in a long time that isn't client-based.

"Lor Mich Kind" are nonsense words, but I did get the idea from certain languages…

I don't usually used the Hard Mix layer mode in Photoshop, but in this piece it worked out extremely well. This might become a series—this piece already has a sister as of this writing. Maybe more will come. But to me it's kind of about optimism in a narcisistic world. The face is smiling even when the world is so intense and powerful and words have become such a confounding mess that they no longer make any readily determinable sense, unless one searched hard, perhaps… even in this intensity and era of change, there is still a sense of vision and maybe a hope for the human soul beyond technocracy, and that vision may lie in the place between technology, spirituality, and optimism. You may be able to draw different conclusions…
