Description
This was a surreal self-portrait I did in '04. Multiple images of myself were superimposed until I created a demonic, shiva-like figures, manipulating both good and evil around him. While on the left, good is held at bay and evil reigns as the monster's tool, his power fades as his hand moves to the right, where the spirit inside of him breaks free and realizes true meaning.

Obviously, it's very metaphorical and is a self-portrait of not just myself, but the things that haunt me. Some people have terrible pasts or crisis of ideals, and these are their "monsters"; mine, however is myself, and how even the best of people can, unfortunately, have the possibility of terrible sides to them.
