What questions do we have to ask so that we move beyond our old structures and into the new? What is this will that supersedes? The will to move on, the will propelled by sources unseen by us before in our comfortable past?
But perhaps that journey is as beautiful as it is painful.

thank you! it is unusually van gogh-ish for me. It's one of the few oil paintings I've done, and that may be why. I hope to use more oils in the future, though, so I might be exploring this style a little more. We'll have to see.
