Stops. Saves. Puts articuno to sleep and lowers hp to something like 2. Throws 50 odd ultra balls.
Fails, curses and reboots system.

I'd chastise you by saying that's how you kill it, but that's not its quad-weakness.
I'm not sure what kind of level difference Articuno would need to survive a Rock attack.

Ugh. I always think Articuno is the most difficult to catch of the birds. Took me like 50 Ultra Balls, with it in a coma with 1 HP.

The only reason I haven't bothered to hunt down Articuno in HG is because it's in a freakin' maze. If I had the patience, I'd have caught it, Moltres, and Lugia by now.
