This is my younger brother.. He's 11, and brilliant. I told him I'd like to take shilouettes, and he came up with the idea for this picture.

He IS brilliant.
Papercranes are a symbol of hope and miracles in my culture and the mysterious backlighting, with the little specks of dust being illuminated, captures that symbolism perfectly. All the colors work in such harmony, it's all so thoughtfully put together. I love this so so so much!

Thanks, I'm glad that you like it! Paper cranes are one of my favourite things to photograph, I have almost a hundred hanging from my celing.

I just love the way the light works around this picture, The way it slightly lights up the ground along with creating the silhouette. Well done!
