I love the contrast of the mushroom (fungi?), it stands out from the environment. What time of day did you take this? The lighting is really good.

They do in fact look like Mario mushrooms! 
I like how the blades of grass are kind of sticking up like that, reminds me of a picture in a Disney movie.
