New creature for my upcoming book!!! Appreciate your opinion...I need some ideas for a name...

Love the design! especially the cowl
now here comes the opinion part (mostly technical), I feel that the wings aren't proportional to her body mass, maybe make them a little bit longer?
I like what you did with the legs, design wise I think I need to see a picture of her standing to make anything.
The thighs are nice and thick and they morph into the legs of an insect. Really nice I haven't seen that done before

as for color suggestion could you describe to me a little about the environment of where this character lives and maybe a little about where she's from just a few words to describe her personality?

Her purpose is to nourish and protect nature and wildlife. She is very intelligent, kind, caring, and curious,
but also quick to anger when her home or environment is threatened...

alright, since she protects nature I would say some greens and browns. Natural soft colors
but since she's guarding I would add in some sort of bright colors like a nice bright red or blue maybe a purple to say "hey don't mess with me!" those would go onto her appendages (maybe she's got some poison stocked up)
I imagine she has a well developed sense of sight so make those eyes pop with a purple or burnt orange
On her cowl I'm not sure if she's some sort of royalty but it would be cool to see a bronze or gold like she's wearing armor
