"How's this?" Tahto spoke through gritted teeth and gazed at Gwyneira hopefully. The young pup had been laughed at by his peers for his prior attempts to look intimidating, so now here he was, out in the snow with young Gwyn to try and improve his "scary face."
Gwyn's frown was brief enough that Tahto almost didn't notice it. He drooped in disappointment, but then she smiled so brightly and reassuringly that Tahto couldn't help but feel encouraged.
"Better! You're making some real improvement, Tahto! But um... maybe try a little less smile and bit more frown. Like this!"
