Actually, finite fractals do occur in nature, this being a prime example. Another would be ferns.

It is too pretty to eat! Humans are fractals too, you know. After all we are what we eat! LOL
Great photography!

plants grow in a fractal way, there is fractality everywhere, we are fractal inside, our circulatory system has fractality, our lungs, our cells
fractality is everywhere
its in photo section because its a photo ._.
but fractality is a property

I just ate Broccoflower with dinner. I kinda felt bad because it's pretty. Haha.
But the Romanesco broccoli you have here is stunning....I'd never be able to eat one no matter how healthy it is.

It doesn't just seem like a fractal, it actually is...

Natural fractals are all around us hiding in familiar and common places.
Great stuff!

Very nice!
Actually it is a fractal, but one of natures own fractals ... take a macrophoto of a shell or a fern and you will be amazed of what nature can make with some mathematics.

Wow. What a good photograph of one of those amazing broccolis. Good job on the image, and a good job finding such a pristine and well-defined specimen!

it does look like a fractal in fact in the thumb I thought it was. the texture and the color is amazing, you got a great sharp capture, I also like how is comes from the corner int the rest on the image. wonderful job.
