Description
This is a long overdue quickie giftart for :iconRodcomm1000: of his OC Vector! Hope you like it man... its a quickie though which took like an hour or so to finish (that's fast for me already!)... no references was used for this and surprisingly, most of this was done in one layer.
On a different note, i dont know how long i can keep doing art as my Wacom pen's tip is almost gone!
On top of that, im gonna start seriously reviewing soon. Sigh....

Definitely doesn't look like a quick job. The face is wonderful, very detailed. The only thing that bugs me a little is the part of the back of his neck the light hits. It's too straight from the head till the bottom of the neck. Even on men with really thick necks there's a bit of curvature at the back, where the neck goes in from the head to the shoulders. That's a minor gripe though as everything else is great.
As for your wacom tip, make a small commission sale to pay for some new nibs. They're not expensive you know. You can buy them directly from Wacom too.

As for the the weird thingie on his neck, its his hair. He's got this fro-mullet going on.... there's a name for it but i forgot what its called.

Aaah! You maybe should have made some stray hairs coming off it as hair doesn't look that smooth when under strong light

well, he really keeps it really trimmed and straightened out... kinda like those plant sculptures. LOL.

hehehe.. ok, you're right. LOL. What i meant though is the look of the characters although this indeed is painterly (even did a whole lot less outlines with this!)
