Story:
It was just a nap, he’d be fine. It would be brief. Ten minutes turned to thirty and thirty turned to almost an hour. The way the warm light fell upon his pelt had just cradled him to sleep. Cal wasn’t one to let his guard down, but this just felt so damn good. He hadn’t truly relaxed in a long time. The stallion’s muscular body sprawled across the gentle green grass. Friendly birch trees stood guard for him. But they let someone through.. The silver maned stallion practically sprang ten feet into the air when something just collapsed beside him with a heavy thud on the ground.

Finally finding his composure, Cal’s blue eyes took in the sight of what had abruptly awoken him. He couldn’t believe it. There laid a pretty.. no beautiful.. mare. She looked up at him with soft amused baby blue eyes. “Hello.” she purred.

Cal’s ears pricked a little more as he just stared at her. He had always purposely put plenty of distance between himself and the females of his species. They meant trouble and he had come to conclusion that when the time come he would find himself some, but he was content living the bachelor life at the moment. Nevertheless, this absolutely stunning mare was laying right in front of him. The playful smirk across her muzzle and the way she spoke informed him that she was more trouble than any old mare would give. She had a feisty air about her. … It intrigued him.
