Layered in with transparent mylar, ink, and colored pencil. Took about 6 hours per layer.Related content

Oh, I love this. I'm thoroughly impressed- I'd never have thought of layering with mylar (textured mylar, right?), and not only that but the muscles and skeletal structure are really well done. Gorgeous work.

One of my teachers gave this to me for a final, and gave me the mylar too. It seemed to be the one-sided textured variety. It's fun to work on in just about any medium, it seems like.

I love how your smiley always looks dismayed.
If you ever get a chance, transparent mylar is awesome, and watercolor even works on it.
