Description
Was trying to understand more about lighting and mood and how to paint a dusk/sunset setting. Used V from Devil May Cry 5 as my subject c: I need to do more hair studies also...not that comfortable with hair at the moment.

Aaaaaaa I saw this on reddit and was amazed at how beautiful the brushwork was, the highlights are so good and that blurred background of griffon is SO ON POINT and makes him feel ALIVE! Love his expression, I think if you did some more studies on hair you'd definitely be able to nail it!Β Β

Aw thanks for the enthusiastic compliments >v< I definitely plan to do more hair and portrait studies! I started drawing his hair and realized I had never done any hair studies before and was like "...oh. RIP." At least I know where I need to improve ahaha
