a butterfly attempt for a commission. this took hours...and hours...even making the template took forever...none of this was mirrored in photoshop. all the shading and inner netting work was done by hand. the outline template was drawn by hand and the other side traced...but no computers...ow mine eyes...

i prefer traditional work to computer stuff. except for my tatts that are 100% black. and even those are done by hand first. cheers

DEAR GOD YES! I wish I didn't read that part. It was like the corniest, tackiest, most boring, typical type of fanfiction ever :\ Mum thinks she wrote it so no one could continue the story but WTF?! She could have at least tried -_-
Also I wish that she had kept at least one of them alive but the argument is that in war you don't choose who dies. But then I find it odd that Harry's closest friends like Hermione, Ron, Neville, Luna, Hagrid all live and I wouldn't really call Dumbledore dead either because he's strange. You'd think one of them would have died as well.

Looks good .. I like the overall shape and the shading but I think there's too much of that netting fill in stuff.
Might look better if you added some whitespace oval shapes of varying sizes into the netting to break things up and maybe some light shading on the edges[ from the outside into the centre ] of the netting a little where it joins onto the tribal parts.
