Description In Legacy of Kain, it was mentioned that Azimuth summoned demons from other dimensions to be her servants, however these "other dimensions" remained an abstract, undefined idea.
In a very old role-play of mine, we explored the idea of parallel universes, and how the same person (soul) could appear in many, many different ways across a number of alternate worlds, and that none of these were a True incarnation of the soul, just one small shard of the whole being: like light passing through a prism.
So, I meshed these ideas together.

I didn't get too far.

The concept was to show Nosgoth in the Blood Omen era (front and center), represented by Ariel's murder. On either side would be a world ruled by Vampires, and a world ruled by Hylden- using humans a middle ground.
To the far left and right would be idealized worlds: Nature left wild and untamed, with vampires stalking the primordial night, and Technology perfected in a mechanical paradise. Finally, the demonic realm where the Hylden were finally trapped, and the spiritual enlightenment the Ancient vampires sought, framed on either side of the spectral purgatory Raziel regularly shifts to.

This sketch didn't get too far because of perspective issues (and since I was drawing during lecture, I didn't have reference images of scenes from the game to help). However, it was an interesting concept and the attempt, if nothing else, has given me a new way of approaching this idea in the future: the prism perspective of Ariel.
