I really have fun drawing Max as a child. Normally when I draw him from his childhood, it normally focus on the negativity of his pass. But in this drawing, I wanted to focus on Max being happy instead of being sad and lonely. I even drew his teddy bear which was shown in Mickey's Once Upon A Christmas movie and the beginning of An Extremely Goofy Movie. Not even gonna lie, drawing kid Max is hard; especially when it comes to doing the eyes correctly and making sure the hands are right. I have to exaggerate a lot of his features like his eyes for example to make him look more cute and childlike but without making his eyes too big; if that makes sense.
Since I'm done with the fan fiction story "Roxanne's College Life", I'm almost ready to post "Back to High School" the fan fiction story based off of Max's life in high school. If you had read my status post, I already finished typing the story and just need to start doing the illustrations for it

You know? With Roxanne out of the picture, it just seemed as if that little stuffed teddy bear seemed to be the only thing Max had left to cling onto until going off to college.😢 Also you simply couldn't help but feel sorry for Goofy after Max left!

Nah, not really. I saw a few clips on Youtube before. However, I saw this movie because of BlockBusters (before they shut down). Man, I miss that place. Use to rent movies and buy popcorn with M&Ms.

Pocahontas and 101 Dalmatians were the first Disney movies I rented at Blockbusters with my dad. Those were the days.

I'm I the only one that would want to watch a movie because I saw the promo of a disney movie on VHS? Like I have the tape of The Jungle Book and on one of the promo, they showed Hercules and I wanted to rent the movie from Blockbusters because of that. Also remember that sorcerer mickey opening at the beginning of an old disney film where it was a black background and it had sorcerer mickey and the title "walt disney" lol

I actually watched a lot of Winnie the Pooh and Muppet movies on VHS before DVD was introduced to me.

Yes, I used to watch Winnie the Pooh a lot. I grew up with pretty much every version of Winnie the movie. The 1960's version, The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (aka the 90's version), Play time with Pooh, Book of Pooh, and all the Winnie the Pooh movies. My preschool used to play winnie the pooh a lot and I had a plush-toy of Piglet.

And yeah, I was thinking to myself, "I need to draw more drawing of Max as a kid more happy insteady of gloomy. Granted he had a bad childhood but even through rough times he can still have happy moments". Plus, he's more cuter happy

agreed, honestly seeing Max sad just makes me sad and angry, good thing you always include a story so I know were to direct my anger but still it's heartbreaking seeing our little Max going through what he did and no I think the fact that you can capture his image and emotions so well is probably why it's so easy to feel for him

One thing I'm starting to notice is that I tend to give him the same two outfits when it comes to childhood version of him In my old drawings of him, it's either this outfit out his blue shirt. I need more ideas lol but then considering I only draw Max as a kid a certain amount of times, I guess it makes sense too

plus you really don't have a lot to work with, I mean he's a 90's cartoon character, his wardrobe was kind of limited but I'm sure you'll come up with some good ideas and with your talent even some simple changes to his outfit should turn out great
