Description Apophysis 2.02h/Photoshop CS

Daring to cross the line between real and realms?. Aren't these the same sometimes...or always?.

Re-rendered an older Apo work from a 3 part series to better standards and changing several things, then applied some PS deceiving magic

Thank you very much! Please don't get lost in it. Perhaps, one of these days, I'll make a bigger and much better render to update the work.

I was wondering which one of your oldies you rejuvinated here.
ah yes and to refer to your thoughts you sent with the image: realms are always bound to reality according to my perception and experience... but reality often changes ever so quickly and with it of course the realms

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

SergioKodemo In reply to baba49 [2006-04-27 21:36:40 +0000 UTC]

Actually it was a never posted before oldie. Simply saw that the original wasn't up to best render quality, so re-rendered it with a different gradient and added a bit of Photoshop magic. There are other two in the series, which will be reworking as time allows, with some different ideas...hehe, let's see what comes up. .
You are right. Too many times feel that realms are unreachable, because the so called reality changes at the same time, making them changing too, if not vanishing. It's a quest that we should never surrender, because realms and reality are part of a same thing, it's a source of our dreams and hopes. Without them, we become like living dead. , suddenly got philosophical, should blame your deep insight on the matter?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

baba49 In reply to SergioKodemo [2006-04-27 23:23:01 +0000 UTC]

keep up that spirit of never surrender. It's a blessing if you have it.
Circumstances made me slip more and more into the shoes of a fatalist = stagnation because I lack just this spirit and the courage that has to go with it to be fruitful.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

SergioKodemo In reply to baba49 [2006-04-28 21:21:33 +0000 UTC]

Thanks baba, appreciate your words.

Think I can understand you and that it's not about having a blessing or not. Been there till not so long ago. Personally think we become stagnant or fatalistic, when we don't have or able to find the needed motivation. If you happen to find it, you can fight against all odds to reach your dreams. Can't believe you don't have the spirit or courage, you are not that kind of person. Really hope you can find that motivation that is the positive driving force behind your acts.

That's well put and true. Sometimes even seemingly endless periods and hopless situations end and every end leaves room for a new beginning. I wait and see.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

SergioKodemo In reply to baba49 [2006-04-29 00:18:54 +0000 UTC]

Nothing lasts forever, and we're never too old to dream and have hopes. Wait and see can work depending on the situation and context, but sometimes, we need to give our realities a little push, these won't move by themselves easily!

ah but if they are pushable it's great and no problem, but to move mountains it needs a miracle and those can't be forced but patiently (patiently ha ha) expected.

Stunningly incredible Apo "capture"! I love the wild colours and the infinite number and kinds of intimate details you're showing in this fractal! Also like the little (your trademark colour, right?) orange flecks in the top right!

SergioKodemo In reply to ElZed [2006-04-27 16:03:10 +0000 UTC]

Thanks ElZed! . And you are right about the intimate details, it's a "trademark" as well as colour, if it can't be straight red, put it orange! Really like how it combines with strong rich blues.

The invitation was made and there's a path to some unknown realms. Only the determined and strong at heart can travel it. Those who aren't, better abstain, the costs are too high. Thanks Anita for your kind words!
