Description WH 40K Chimera.
Geometry-only render to show level of detail.

Again, not strictly following miniature etc etc.

I've got pretty tired of it, so I decided to complete it making only one modification for now.

~1.5 mil polys

As always, created with Luxology MODO

Final render is on the way, I'll submit it when it finishes rendering

It is beautful work. This Chimera much more resembles a modern fighting vehicle and the secondary weapons are more in-scale than the plastic models are. It is very nice. I hope to see the finished prodect (colored and weathered) soon. The gunsights look very realistic as does the tow-points on the lower hull. I would like to see the autocannon slightly larger (I see the Warhammer 40K Imperial Aujtocannon as somewhere around 40mm to 57mm- so slightly beefier) or with the ubiquitous multi-laser in the turret but other than that, I love it. This is how GW should make the models. Keep up the great work!

Excellent work it looks as if it should be sitting on a modelers shelf. I enjoy and respect the amount of work it takes to make a cgi that tricks the eye into reality. It is fun to be fooled I guess. Great design, great attention to detail, just great work. Look forward to seeing it in color

compared to the rest they look dull, and they have that square peice in the middle i dont like. i know thats just the model but i know you can come up with something better.

They're pretty much like ones on the miniature. I didn't want to "invent" something there
They look better textured with worn edges
