Before these 2 regenerate with crystal gems outfit, i wanted to draw them wearing something the other would wear but keeping each other's "preference"

Hence why lapis is wearing a crop top (like in her usual design), and peridot is still wearing some type of footwear

I felt like lapis would wear high heels (like a bad bitch that crushes her enemies with the pointiest heels),

but for some reason i was having trouble drawing peri with a dress (i didnt want it to look too much like the wedding outfit) so i gave her a tight undergarment and a yellow cloak/dress thingy

Also, if we're going all out, in this version peridot would have metal powers and work in building ships and weapons, meanwhile lapis doesnt have water powers (or at least they made her believe she doesnt have any) but uses large machinery for terraforming (kinda like when pearl drove the hand ship)
