Are the vests modular in design? I mean, do those pouches have some "ladder" attachments behind them? Like on our new m/05 combat vest [link] ).jpg

Ever thought of adding cargo hooks on your vest? The finnish m/85 taisteluvyΓΆ [link] (combat harness) has cargo hooks on the shoulders for securing weapon slings, pack straps etc. And we have dangling hooks on the straps of the belt as well for carrying mines.

BTW, here's a site selling some surplus military equipment, it's in finnish, though [link]
The "korotettu sissiteltta" (raised guerillatent) is used as a company-level medical site. I command one of them. Really comfy, if I ever get a camping buzz, I'm gonna buy one.

The vest is indeed modular so all the pouches can be removed.

I habe some kind of cargo-hooks on the vest. they are on the shoulder and over the rear. they are usually used for a bagpack but can also be used for othe equipment since they have a standart-size clip.

(And you wrote you "command one of them" does that mean you still do, so are you still serving or was it just a spelling mistake?)

I'm in the reserves. My rank is corporal (alikersantti) and thus my war-time task is to command a company-level first-aid station. At least, with the old system. Now they're upgrading so there'd be an officer-grade doctor already at company level (old system had battalion-level).

Ok, and why did you want to know that details about the vest? Any soecial reason?

Just the limits of 2D drawing. The pouches looked permanently placed, which is "unpopular" in military circles these days.

Yeah, it has some big disadvantages.
