Origins
The High Elfs were created long after the pantheon became gods. Millions of years in fact.
Eve wished to have children, not just one or two, but many. As many children as hairs on her head. So she took her hair, and snipped the ends off. As the hair fell to Vesevia, she gave each life and form. These people came to be known as the High Elfs. She loved her hair, but she loved her creations far more. They were dolls that responded when she played with them. They would never truly be her children, but they were as close as she would come. Eve has wanted children since becoming a goddess. But over the millennia she never figured out how to have them on her own. She knew that there was a natural way to do it, but she couldn't bring herself to think of it, let alone ask anyone about it, or research the subject. It was far too icky. yes, it's common in lemon and nurse sharks, where only one or two pups may be born, due to eating the other pups inutero.
